On Tuesday 16 August 2022 between 9-11pm BST, QMplus was updated with a new theme.
Staff and students are still able to access their module areas, content and activities as before, but QMplus looks quite different and we will need to become familiar with this updated interface.
The main changes you will see after the theme update are:
- Refreshed login page
- A completely new dashboard providing easy access to your modules on QMplus
- A new timeline feature helping you stay up to date with important deadlines
- Refreshed module areas
- New larger icons in module areas which are easier to read
- A refreshed look for School/Programme home pages. Easily accessible at all times
Refreshed Login Page
The login page has been refreshed and simplified. You still use the same credentials to log in as you do now.
New Dashboard
Your dashboard is the first thing you will see after you have logged in. This gives you access to all the modules you are enrolled in on QMplus. You can customise the way your modules are displayed and ordered by using the sorting and display options. You can also “star” modules that you want to find quickly and jump to modules that you have accessed recently.
New Timeline Feature
The new timeline feature, accessed via the timeline tab on your dashboard, allows you to keep up with important deadlines such as assignment due dates. You can also jump directly to the activities in QMplus by clicking the links in your timeline.
Refreshed module area
Module areas are refreshed, less cluttered and easier to navigate.
- In modules using tabs, the tabs will still be available
- Blocks, such as the module information block, still appear on the right side of the module area
Refreshed icons
Icons in module areas have been refreshed and are much easier to read.
Refreshed School/Department/Programme Information Pages
School/Department/Programme information pages are now accessed via the “My Home” link in the left navigation panel. The pages have a refreshed new look in line with the rest of the theme.
