QMplus and QMplus Hub (Moodle and Mahara) will be unavailable all day on Tuesday, 17 August 2021 until Wednesday, 18 August while we carry out essential work to migrate the site to a new host.
Update: 18 August 2021
QMplus was released to the user community just after 2:30pm on Wednesday, 18th August after successfully being migrated to our new host. After a rather slow start, our host increased the database capacity to accommodate our site usage and the site is running well. We will continue to monitor the site over the next few days.
We are aware of an issue with the SITS Marks Transfer plugin and the technical team has identified a solution to the issue, which they plan to implement tomorrow morning, 19th August. There have also been reports of minor styling issues which we will be looking into. Please raise other issues via the IT Services Helpdesk as usual.
Thank you to the technical teams for their hard work and thank you for your patience. Once again, we apologise for the disruption and for any inconvenience that this work caused.
IMPORTANT UPDATE – 17 August 2021
The QMplus and QMplus Hub migration work began at 7am (BST) on Tuesday, 17th August and will now continue into the afternoon of Wednesday, 18th August (time to be confirmed).
Unfortunately, the size of the QMplus database has meant the migration could not be completed in one day as previously anticipated.
We will do our best to get the site online as soon as possible and we apologise for this further disruption and any inconvenience caused.

We are unable to provide any form of access to QMplus or QMplus Hub during this time due to the need to migrate all up to date content and data (i.e. read only access is not possible).
Please do not plan any activities in QMplus or QMplus Hub to take place on Tuesday, 17 August or Wednesday, 18th August (e.g. no assignment deadlines should be set for that day or the following day).
If you will need to access files or complete tasks using QMplus or QMplus Hub, please make sure you bear this date in mind and download anything needed from QMplus or QMplus Hub in advance of Tuesday, 17 August.
