Farewell Blackboard

2 November 2013 Posted in: Articles, News By: Alysa Bramble

Following the transition last summer to QMUL’s new online learning environment, QMplus, the E-learning Unit has completed the final phase of migrating material from Blackboard to QMplus for a few remaining courses. This work was completed over summer 2013.

The University’s Blackboard license expired on 31st of October – although users were told they would lose access at the end of September, they were in fact allowed access until the end of October to retrieve any needed content.

The E-Learning Unit and IT Services will now focus on upgrading and enhancing QMplus for staff and students. For updates on QMplus enhancements, please see our QMplus Tracker pages, which is available in the QMplus practitioner group.
