TELT014 – Getting Started with MS Teams meetings

Microsoft Teams is a component of Office 365 designed for online collaboration.

In this 60 minute session, the Technology Enhanced Learning team will show you the most commonly used functions of MS Teams in meetings at QMUL, explore how you can use them with your students, give you some hands-on practice and have your questions answered, supported by guidance documentation.

A link to access the session will be emailed to you the day before the session is due to take place.

If you are attending the session in-person, please bring a laptop with you.

Please note: This session covers MS Teams meetings (see list below) and does not cover everything about MS Teams (such as profiles, status messages etc.).

Activity feed (@mentions) and notifications
Types of meetings

The sessions are available to all staff, but relevant to those who are directly involved in teaching and assessment. PhD students, please note these sessions do not contribute towards skills points.
