Bulk Activity Creation (Admin)

The Bulk Activity Creation feature allows users to add an activity to a number of QMplus courses in bulk. The activity can be add to Topic 0, Topic 1 or in the last Topic.

This guide covers:

  • Enabling the Bulk Activity Creation
  • Bulk copying an activity to courses

You need category administrator (super user) access to use this feature.

Bulk Activity Creation is a QMplus block. To use it, you must add the Bulk Activity Creation block into the QMplus areas where the activity you wish to add to other course areas has been created. To enable the block, turn editing on in your course area and then find the Add a block menu (bottom right of the page).

Select Bulk Activity Creation from the list of available blocks. You will now find the Bulk Activity Creation block on the bottom right of the page.

Bulk copying an activity to courses

Once you have enabled the Bulk Activity Creation block, you will find that a Bulk Copy to Courses option has been added to the edit menu of individual items. The edit menu can be found by clicking on the 3 dots on the right-hand side of individual items.

Once Bulk Copy to Courses is selected, all non-hidden categories will be displayed including their sub-categories with courses. From the drop-down menu, select the location you wish to copy the activity to. A check-box will be available against every category or course. Use the arrow next to the check-box to expand the available options, then choose where you would like to add the activity by checking the appropriate boxes.
