QMUL Evaluations (in QMplus) – Beta

Enhancement to the Questionnaire tool – instructions here:

Requirements: “Category Administrator” (or Super Admin) Role is required
Note: “Module Evaluation Questionnaire (MEQ)” activity is an enhanced version of the original “Questionnaire” activity. Therefore the core functionality of the MEQs is still same as the “Questionnaire activity. e.g Adding questions in a Questionnaire and Viewing Responses etc..

How to add the evaluation to the Master course:

Step 1: Open the course page where you want to add the “Master Evaluation”
Step 2: Switch the “Edit” mode on.
Step 3: Click “Add an activity or resource” where you want to add the Master Evaluation
Step 4: Select “QM Evaluation” activity form the available list of activities and click “Add”.

Step 5: On the next page, add “Name” of the Master Evaluation Questionnaire (MEQ) and under “Content Options” please select “Create New” radio box.

Step 6: When setting up a QMUL Module Evaluation, you should also ensure the following options are set up under the ‘Response Options’:

Type: ‘Respond Once’
Respondent Type: ‘Anonymous’
Students can view ALL responses: ‘Never’

 

Step 7: Click “Save and return to course” or “Save and display” to save and complete this step.
Step 8: You can now open the newly created “Master Evaluation” and add questions. Please visit “Adding/editing a questionnaire” page to learn about how to add or edit questions in a “Questionnaire” activity.

How to add it to the individual modules:

Step 1: Open the course page where you want to add the Evaluation and switch editing mode ON.
Step 2: Click “Add an activity or resource”, and select “QM Evaluation” from the list of available activities and click “Add”.
Step 3: On the next page, add “Name” of the Child Module Evaluation Questionnaire (MEQ)
Step 4: Under “Content Options” please select the Master MEQ from the available list of MEQs under “Use Bespoke” category.

How to take MEQ as a student:

You can now login as “Student”, go to the course where you have created “Child Evaluation” and answer the questions.

How to see the results (and download the file):

Go to the course where you have added the “Master MEQ”. Open the Master MEQ and click on “View All Responses”.
