Q-Review

1. Get a Q-Review account by raising a ticket on <Helpdesk>

2. Make sure (within Q-Review) you have access to the Modules you teach/coordinate.

3. When planning your recording, there are two main options available to you:-

Lecture Capture in Q-Review Enabled Rooms – this recording method uses equipment in a <Q-Review enabled teaching room>. You can request for a recording to be scheduled by completing an <online form>.

Personal Capture using your laptop – this recording method uses installed software and equipment connected to a desktop or laptop computer. You can borrow a laptop/webcam from
ELU or install the Personal capture software onto your own device.

4. Editing – you can make basic edits to your recording whether you have recorded a live event in a lecture theatre or pre-recorded some course material using the Personal Capture software.

5. Publishing and Playing your recordings – Lectures recorded in lecture theatres are published automatically but you have to manually publish the lecture recordings made using Personal Capture.  An email is sent to the lecturer/presenter once the lectures are  processed. You can watch lecture(s) (including presentations, audio and sometimes lecturer’s video) on a Windows PC or Mac. You can make your recordings available via your QMplus course. Alternatively, you can either paste the link to a webpage or you can send the links to users (both QM and non-QM members).
