QMplus April 2020 Release
This release, originally scheduled for Tuesday 21st April, has been postponed until further notice because of essential changes to the QMplus hosting environment. Please see:
New Features and extensions
- Consolidation of Course formats – merging of Collapsed topics and Topics formats into one with setting to switch between collapsed and non-collapsed. All existing courses will retain their format. When new ones are created there will be one format only for those wanting collapsed/flat topics.
- When creating or editing a course, it will no longer be possible to add the old AI tab nor Extra Tabs as they’re now superseded by the Assessment Info block and tabbed course format respectively.
- ‘Transform Old tabs’ button to enable conversion of the old AI tab and Extra tabs to QM tabbed format and AI tab (based on the AI block) respectively. This is available for testing on UAT.
- Extend bulk add activity feature to course admins as well as category (super) admins
- AI block now correctly reflects status of a group submission
- Some errors in Content Creation tool fixed.
Investigations in progress
- Ensuring Assignments widget and main course display accurately reflect status of group submissions (as per AI block above)
- Evaluation of new Plugin to embed quiz questions in other content/activities
- H5P update – mobile compatibility
- Accessibility – identification, differentiation and prioritisation of work necessary to comply with latest legislation
- Moodle2Word reported issues – may lead to removal of this plugin
