Commonly asked support questions

Here are the questions that were most commonly asked via The Helpdesk during the past month.

Question 1: I am not seeing my department landing page on QMplus. Is this something I have permission to set myself? 

Answer 1: Yes, you have the ability to select a different landing page from the drop down available on the landing page. For more information, watch the video here.

 

Question 2: I have released the grades for my students but they cannot see their grades and feedback. Can you please help?

Answer 2: Yes, you will need to ensure the grades are visible and have not been hidden in the grader report. Please also take a look at our video guide here, which lists a number of reasons that grades and feedback might not be available to students.

 

Question 3: I have created a video which I would like to add to my QMplus course area so that my students can access it. How can I do this?

Answer 3: You will need to upload the video to QMplus Media via your My Media area. To do this, please follow the steps in the guide here: https://elearning.qmul.ac.uk/guide/uploading-a-video-to-your-my-media-area/

Once you have added the video to your My Media area, you will then need to add to your QMplus course. To do this, please follow the steps in this guide here: https://elearning.qmul.ac.uk/guide/upload-and-stream-videos-in-qmplus/
