Commonly asked support questions

14 June 2021 Posted in: Tips By: Rume Begum

Here are the questions that were most commonly asked via The Helpdesk during the past month.

Question 1: The student ‘A.N. Other’ should no longer have access to my course. Can you please remove them from my QMplus course?

Answer 1: It is only possible to remove students individually from a course area if they have been manually enrolled. To unenrol students who have been enrolled onto a QMplus course via SITS, you will need to login to MySIS and raise a ticket with the MySIS support team to request that the student is removed.

Once the student has been removed via MySIS, the student will automatically be removed from the QMplus course.

Question 2: I would like to enable a student to have another attempt at an assignment or to allow an exception for them so that they can submit after the deadline. How can I do this?

Answer 2: The guide here provides instructions on how to enable this for the assignment.

Question 3: My students have said that they cannot see all their modules on QMplus, please can you help provide this access?

Answer 3:  Students are required to enrol onto the modules via MySIS. Once they have done this, they will then be automatically given access to the course area on QMplus as long as the correct course ID has been entered for that course on QMplus and it has been unhidden.

If the student still cannot see their course, please raise a ticket with us via the Helpdesk.
