Tidying up your file lists on your QMplus course page

28 September 2015 Posted in: Tips Tagged: By: Gill Ritchie

It is very easy for course areas on QMplus to end up consisting of long lists of files, especially as they are re-used year on year and accumulate course materials. This makes it difficult for students to find what they are looking for. There are a variety of ways in which you can present files on your course page to make it easier for students to navigate:

  • Hide, or better still delete, out of date files
  • Give files meaningful names and helpful descriptions
  • Break up long file lists with text labels and use indentation to make them easier to scan
  • Organise files into folders

See our guide on Tidying up the files on your course page for more details.
