This session is for users who have attended the Getting Started with Zoom session or who already have some basic knowledge of Zoom and would like to learn more about best practices with using Zoom in teaching.
In this 75-minute session participants will learn about features in Zoom to manage online participants as well as tools that can be used to keep online students engaged. Participants will have the opportunity to practice using some of the features.
This session will be delivered online via Zoom and On Site in Department W.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Manage online participants, assign permissions and roles in Zoom
- Set up security settings, such as: lock rooms, enable waiting rooms, hide profile photos, suspend participants
- Set up and manage polls
- Set up and manage breakout rooms
