The Technology Enhanced Learning Team (TELT) would like to invite you to two lunchtime sessions on QMplus assessments:

1. QMplus Assignments: Tips, tricks and Lessons Learned
   29/03/2023 (12:00 noon – 12:30pm)
2. QMplus Quizzes: Tips, tricks and Lessons Learned
   30/03/2023 (12:00 noon – 12:30pm)

 

About the sessions

Over the previous exam periods we observed variation in the way Quizzes and Assignments were created on QMplus – each setup has advantages and disadvantages to consider. These sessions will explore the different settings, look at best practice and discuss how assessments are being set up at QM. 

These sessions are especially relevant as we approach the May 2023 examination period. The objectives for both sessions are to: 

• Discuss various settings within the QMplus Assignment and Quiz activities
• Explore pros and cons of these settings 
• Discuss and exchange best practice  
• Review sample QM assignments and quizzes 

 

Session requirements

1. Both sessions are open to all QM staff who are involved with QMplus assignments or quizzes.
2. Attendees do not require any specialist or prior experience of working with these activities, however this is not an introductory session.
3. Participants will also have the option to stay an additional 30 minutes after each session for further discussions with QM colleagues and members of TELT.
4. Please note: these sessions will not cover marking and giving feedback on assessments as we will only have time to discuss the various settings when creating an assignment or quiz.
