The Learning Technologist Group (LTG) is for Queen Mary staff whose work focuses on using technology to enhance learning. These are usually members of staff who have a remit for supporting e-learning across a School or a Department. The group meets monthly and is intended to allow us to disseminate important information to different parts of the institution. It also provides a forum for the sharing of best practice. If you have an issue you’d like to get feedback on, the group is a great place to get advice. There’s a wealth of experience from across the University in the room.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the group, please contact the E-Learning Unit on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add you to our list. Meetings take place in the E-Learning Studio, room 0.09 in the Scape Building.
We also have an area on QMplus which we use to support the meetings. In this area you’ll find notes from the meetings and copies of any documents that were circulated in the meeting. You can access the area by going to the Learning Technologists Group Meetings area on QMplus and enrolling yourself on it.
