Reimagining your QMplus course (E-Learning Annual Event)

This year’s E-Learning annual event will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of July (14:00-16:00) in SCAPE 0.14. We invite you to celebrate the end of the academic year and to share ideas to help you (re)design your course areas. Featuring concepts from the wider E-Learning community, we will assist you in developing your course areas in order to make them more engaging and accessible to learners. In addition to giving you a sneak preview of the new features of QMplus we will have mini-activities on:

  • QMplus Baselines
  • (Re)Design your modules
  • QMplus and Accessibility

We welcome everyone who might be interested in attending in this time of reflection and recharging between periods of teaching, both academic and professional staff, over a drink or a nibble. To find more details about the event and register your attendance, follow this link.

E-Learning Hour – Easy ways to create interactive content on QMplus

Vintage alarm clock

Join us for our E-Learning Hour between 1 and 2pm on Tuesday 4th June to hear more about how you can easily create interactive content on QMplus. Hidden under the “Interactive Content” activity on QMplus is a range of tools to help you create things like:

  • Interactive presentations
  • Interactive videos
  • Multimedia timelines
  • Image hotspots
  • …and many more!

We’ll demonstrate just a few of the things you can do and hopefully inspire you to try making use of the tools yourself. You can attend the event in person by coming along to the Milton lecture theatre in the Garrod Building on the Whitechapel campus or you can join in online through QMplus.

Full details, including how to join in online, are available on the E-Learning Hour event page on the E-Learning Unit website.
