In June, we told you about the three student ambassadors who joined the Technology Enhanced Learning Team (TELT)  to help revamp our student induction programme over the summer.

We are now preparing for the next phase of the project where our TEL student ambassadors will work with us to deliver our TELT induction sessions during welcome week. The TEL team have recruited 4 new ambassadors to join our induction delivery team.

Let’s meet our newest student ambassadors.

Anu

Hi!

My name is Anu and I am heading into my second year studying Materials Engineering. I’m excited to be a new TEL student ambassador. I look forward to helping fellow students with resources to aid their learning.

When I’m not working I love playing basketball and working on my various photography projects.

Ahrebah

Hello!

My name is Ahrebah and I am about to enter my third year of studying Biomedical Sciences at QMUL. Over the course of my degree, I have really enjoyed volunteering at university events and working with other student ambassadors and volunteers during Welcome Week.

As a TEL Student Ambassador, I am looking forward to meeting this year’s new students and introducing them to all the great TEL applications that can enhance their learning experience. Outside of university, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and love to bake!

Irha

Hello!

My name is Irha and I will be starting my third-year in Biomedical Sciences. My keen interest in scientific communication and technology-driven learning has led me to embrace an exciting new role as a TEL Student Ambassador. I’m enthusiastic about contributing my skills to enhance the learning experience through innovative technology with the team.

As a current QM student, I’m keen to draw on my experiences from using the TEL technologies including Q-Review, QMPlus, and Turnitin to bring a fresh perspective to the Technology Enhanced Learning Team and better the experiences for incoming and current students.

Beyond academia and university, I love to go for walks and read! I’m eager to collaborate with the team to create impactful changes and contribute to a richer educational experience for all students.

Jessica

Hi!

My name is Jessica and I’m doing my Masters in Law (LLM) at Queen Mary. A little bit about myself, I’m from the tropical Malaysia, and my favourite thing to do in London is to go food hunting!

I remember what it was like moving to a new university and adjusting into a new environment, so I’m looking forward to connecting with and helping new students settle seamlessly into university life as they start the new academic year!
