Commonly Asked Support Questions

Here are the questions that were most commonly asked via The Helpdesk during the past month.

Question 1: My students cannot access the recordings on my QMplus course. Can you fix this issue please?

Answer 1: Students will only be able to access the lecture recordings if the q-review link has been added to the course and the link has been made available. For more information, click the guide here.

Question 2: I would like to delete a mapping for my course but I cannot see the delete icon on the enrolment mapper. Can you delete this for me? 

Answer 2: Unfortunately, this privilege has been removed from the editor role due to some issues. The team who maintain the enrolment mapper are currently working to resolve these issues.

For now, only system administrators can delete a mapping, so please raise a ticket with the E-Learning Unit team so that we can carry this out for you.

Question 3: Some of my students’ assignments have not generated an originality report through Turnitin and they are presented with an error message. What should I do?

Answer 3: This is a known issue and we are currently working with the Turnitin team to resolve the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience. We will keep you updated with the progress.
