Commonly Asked Support Questions

Here are the questions that were most commonly asked on the Helpdesk during the last month.

Question 1: I need to rollover my course for the next academic year, can you rollover my course please?
Answer 1: All Schools have an appointed QMplus Super Administrator who will be scheduling the rollover for their School so we advise that you contact them directly providing them with details of your course. To find out who the QMplus Super Administrator is in your School, click here.

Question 2: Do you have any information on the new features that are now available on QMplus?
Answer 2: Yes, we have a list of all the new features available on our E-Learning website. For more information, visit the link here.

Question 3: I would like a Turnitin account, can you help?
Answer 3: Yes, we can. You will need to raise a HelpDesk ticket providing us with the following information:

  • Your role on the course
  • Document you would like to view
  • Creator of the document

Question 4: Once my course has been rolled over, how can my re-sit students access their course?
Answer 4: They will need to access their course via the QMplus 2017 archive. A link to the archive can be found at the bottom of the QMplus login page under the QMplus Archive section. Alternatively, you can send them a direct link to the archive.

Question 5: I am trying to use the chat session to communicate with my distance learning students but I am unable to record the session. Can you advise?
Answer 5: Yes, you may want to consider using Blackboard Collaborate which allows you to record the session. Also, it allows you to connect with your students using audio, video, file sharing and virtual whiteboard. For more information, please visit our guide here.
